"We all know about the Oscars and Emmys, so here's a look at the furniture industry's stars: the Pinnacle Awards.

Sponsored by the American Society of Furniture Designers, the Pinnacle Awards were announce last month during the High Point Furniture Market. Fifteen winners were named in categories ranging from accessories and lighting to the major collection for 2016, the best picture so to speak.

And the winner was... the Criteria Collection: a heather gray and pale ivory collection that's a transitinoal take on traditional design highlighting architectural details, high-sheen finishes, faux lizard patterns and silver details."
